Jewel is a 1994 album by Marcella Detroit. Detroit started working on the album in 1992, intending to release it in between Shakespears Sister's third album so that Siobhan Fahey could take a break from the group to spend more time with her family. This was not meant to be in the end, as Fahey ended her partnership with Detroit in early 1993.

Produced by Chris Thomas the album received mixed reviews, however the first single "I Believe" became a hit in Europe and Australia and in the UK the album managed to get a gold certification, peaking at #15. The album's second single was the duet with Elton John "Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing", which had been previously released in John's 1993 album Duets. It peaked at #24 in the UK. The third single, "I'm No Angel", fared even worse, peaking at #33. The album's last single, "Perfect World" was released in March 1995, more than half a year after "I'm No Angel", and was not promoted by London Records and peaked at #134.

After the completion of the promotion of this album, Detroit left London Records.

"I Believe" was later covered by German artist Joana Zimmer in 2005, becoming a hit throughout Europe.
